What is Bring 'Em Home Dinners?
Bring 'Em Home Dinners is "Do-It-Yourself Meal Assembly Center." It's a convenient way to save time and effort, money and messes, AND feed your family healthy, home-cooked dinners made by your loving hands. Here's how it works:
Go to the Calendar page and pick a session time and day that works for you, register, choose your entrees, and pay online. Each entree is designed to feed at least six adults. (And YES! You can split the entrees into 2!) Bring an ice chest, laundry basket or tote to your session, in which to pack your assembled, but uncooked and ready to cook or freeze, dinners.
When you arrive at our location, grab an apron and prepare to have fun. Our assistants will help you get started after a brief orientation for first-timers.
Each station has all of the ingredients for that particular entree. Follow the recipe, scooping and mixing the fresh, pre-cut ingredients and spices for your dinners into the provided baking pans or freezer bags. Move to the next station and follow the next recipe. Place your completed dinners into the nearby refrigerator. When you're finished assembling all of your dinners, pack them into your own ice chest, laundry basket or tote, and head home. We even provide ice, if you like.
While you are assembling your dinners, enjoy talking with friends or those at neighboring stations.
We even have an area for your children to play and hang out, while you keep an eye on them. Your older children (and husbands even!) can help assemble too!
Don't worry about cleaning up after yourself - our helpful assistants just love to do that for you.
At home, place your uncooked dinners into your freezer (keep one out for tonight or tomorrow!) When you're ready to eat one of your Bring 'Em Home Dinners, simply thaw it and cook it by following the instructions on the cooking label that comes with each dinner.
Gather family and friends around the table for great quality time together and a delicious dinner that serves six adults... All without the shopping, chopping, messes and stresses!
